A Message From the President Rev. Dr. Dieudonne Raymond

Greetings!

In January 2019, I received a clear vision from God. He summoned me to work on a Constitution for Him. At first, I thought this referred to my local church’s constitution and was puzzled by the idea. Three days later, Rev. Dr. Joseph Dumornay asked me to help revise the Constitution of the Association of Evangelical Pastors of New England.

Over the next four months, several members of the Board of Advisors and I met weekly for six hours at a time, devoting ourselves to improving the document with dedication and strong Gospel principles. However, looking

back on the development of things over the past twelve years or so, along with the inspiration of some elders, I came to understand that God’s call extended even further—it was also an invitation to step up and serve as president, to offer clear direction and demonstrate authentic, scriptural leadership.

Today, as a father of th

Jonathan and Doran, a grand-father of 4,

married to Marie Y. St. Vil Ray

Senior Pastor and founder Holy Bible Baptist

Churches Union and the Holy Bible Institute, I introduce myself as the new president of this respected association of evangelical pastors. Purposefully, to serve you all

—Haitian pastors of New England— was the reason I was elected, regardless of your age, your experience, whether you are pioneers or newcomers, predecessors or successors, founders or beneficiaries!

To those who have been observing us from a distance, perhaps held back by fear or doubt, I invite you to join us. This is a new era—a fresh beginning for new and remarkable things to unfold. With the Lord on our side, success and conquest of new horizons are also within our reach. As Booker T. Washington wisely said, “A measure of peoples success is not what they achieve, but what they overcome.” Let us move forward, for there is much to overcome together, but only by remaining firmly rooted in the truth of the Word.

Dear colleagues in the ministry of the Gospel, be assured that this is the path the vice-president and I are dedicated to guiding you on over the next three years, with God’s grace, until every division is healed, every breach mended up, and true unity is fully realized. Shalom! Shalom!

Rev. Dr: Dieudonné Raymond, ThD, DMin,
